This Class is Compulsory for moving on to the agility training classes. 

 

Clicker training is a method that uses a unique sound, a click, to tell a dog that they have done something desirable.

 

Because the click sound is hard to replicate in daily life it is a distinct sound that can be used to mark any action or behavior a dog offers.

 

The sound is made using a 'clicker'. A clicker is a small hand-held device that gives a 'click' sound when pressed. Clickers have been used to train marine and other animals for many years and have now become very popular in in dog training.

Clicker training is Force-free & reward based, relying on co-operation, consistency & repetition.

 

The best thing about clicker training is the results you and your dog will achieve - Not to mention the FUN involved!

Course Fees:    $70 per 6 week term (includes clicker). 

If Payment is not received by the date advised by the course co-ordinator then a place in the class will no longer be available for you.
